Window 8 – New Featured Version of Microsoft Operating System

Microsoft has launched the Windows 8 in February 2012. Microsoft has come up with the 9 different editions that are :

  1. Windows 8 Starter EditionWhy to Prefer Microsoft Windows 8?
  2. Home Basic Edition
  3. Home Premium Edition
  4. Professional Edition
  5. Professional Plus Edition
  6. ARM Edition
  7. Enterprise Edition
  8. Enterprise Eval Edition
  9. Ultimate Edition.

Out of these 9 editions 6 are available with the window 7 also and the new ones are Professional plus , Enterprise Eval edition and ARM edition.

The advantage of windows 8 over windows 7 is that it usually takes less memory.Windows 7 required 540MB of memory in contrast Windows 8 requires only 281 MB of memory.It means that it can easily be run with the older notebooks.The ARM edition is is also an advantage of Window 8 operating system that is mostly benefited for the tablet PCs.

Out of all my study about windows 8 is that , Microsoft adopted the approach for window 8 for the desktops,laptops and mobile phones.It means that it can compete with the Android iOS and Google Android.

System Requirements For Windows 8:

The hardware requirements for windows 8 are as same as for windows 7 along with the it takes advantage of touch input requires a screen for multi touch.
